Based on an official protest against the results of the 1000 miles of Czechoslovakia 2021 race and after a thorough review of all controls and video recordings from the controls, we are forced to correct the results of the 1000 miles of Czechoslovakia race.
1. At the Holíč checkpoint the passage time of car 2/Lukáš Kudrna/JAWA 600 MINOR Roadster was wrongly recorded and on the basis of this error he was wrongly credited with 719.500TR points. The passage time of car 2/Lukáš Kudrna/JAWA 600 MINOR Roadster at the HOLÍČ control is 14.8.2021, 09:12AM. For this reason, we are correcting the total number of penalty points to 104.595TR points for the entry number 2/Lukáš Kudrna/JAWA 600 MINOR Roadster.
2. At the checkpoint, or the skill check SLALOM Záhorská Bystrica, the conditions for completing the slalom were not met by the starting number 7/Dieter Martin and Petra Martin/DKW AUTO UNION. On the basis of this error the SLALOM for the starting number 7/Dieter Martin and Petra Martin/DKW AUTO UNION was scored with 80.000 TR points. In total, the crew scored 158,000TR points and moved to 45th. place in the overall standings and 6th. place in the 750cc category.
Based on this finding we are forced to correct the overall results in the up to 750cc CATEGORY in the manner as shown in the email attachment. Starting number 2/Lukáš Kudrna/JAWA 600 MINOR Roadster is hereby the winner in the category up to 750 cc and moves up to 19th. place in the overall results with a total penalty score of 104.595TR points. The other awarded positions remain unchanged (2nd and 3rd place in the up to 750cc category).
Just to mention, in the 1000 miles of Czechoslovakia 2021 race, a total of 112 race cars were evaluated at 18 controls, 1 skill control in Brno and 2 time – related tests (Pezinská baba, Slalom). The evaluation is performed by a software which counts all given criteria and there are recording media at several controls. The time related tests data are also backed up twice. The results announced after the race are almost real time and then there is a check for example for the human factor, where this check may reveal any irregularities.
We apologize to everyone involved. We will sort out all the details with the trophy handover and other things as soon as possible. We will also have the overall results list of the 1000 miles Czechoslovak 2021 corrected.
